Meet Kristin!

I graduated from the University of Evansville’s doctor of physical therapy program in 2014 and started my career in inpatient rehab.  I discovered my love for pediatrics not long after in 2016 when my family made our move to Charleston! I have also worked briefly in skilled nursing facilities and with young adults with special needs through their day programs! My heart lies with Early Intervention, emphasis on the EARLY part…0-1 year-old.  However, some of my very favorite little friends are those who are just as dedicated to their therapy as I am! These STRONG kiddos who have encountered significant developmental challenges have families who continue to welcome me into their home have made this “job” a dream.

Meet Cathy!

I graduated from the University of Evansville's Doctor of Physical Therapy Program in 2020 just after falling in love with Charleston and my kiddos here on my final clinical rotation. I was lucky enough to come immediately back to those same kiddos along with a few more and haven't looked back since! I did rotations in outpatient orthopedics as well as inpatient rehab but, nothing made me happier than Early Intervention Pediatrics! I enjoy working with complex and medically fragile children in order to empower them to be as independent as possible. I also thoroughly enjoy assisting kiddos and their families through use of equipment and DME to help them to achieve their goals.

Meet Karcyn!

I attended Auburn University for my undergraduate degree, gaining my degree in Exercise Science with a minor in psychology. I then attended Charleston Southern University where I obtained my DPT. My passion for PT and working with children has been a driving force behind my decision to pursue early intervention. I believe in creating a nurturing, developmentally supportive environment where young children can thrive—environments that encourage them to explore their surroundings, connect with their peers, and express their individuality with confidence. Seeing a child accomplish a new milestone— whether big or small—is an experience that left an impact on me during my rotation. Sharing these moments with families, and seeing the joy in their eyes, is what made me fall in love with pediatric PT and each child's unique journey. During my undergrad I had experiences with children and adults with disabilities as a research aide and coaching special olympics swim team. I have additional PT experiences in outpatient and skilled nursing facilities via clinical rotations.
